Travis Cuddington Bio

Osteopathic Practitioner

Travis is an Osteopthic Pracitioner who completed his studies at the Canadian School of Osteopathy Manual Practice – Vancouver Campus. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Saskatchewan.

Contained within the Osteopathic program was a 2-year thesis where I investigated the approach and contributions of the noted American Osteopathic elder, Dr. Robert Fulford, to the energetic principles of Osteopathy. Following the training in Vancouver, I undertook postgraduate studies with the noted French Osteopath, René Briend D.O., looking at the Biodynamic and Biokinetic teachings of Osteopathy.

Part passion and part design, my training, thesis and experience have offered me the
background and opportunity to work extensively with newborns, pre and post
pregnancies (both expectant parents), children, teens, as well as adults and the elderly.

Overall, my treatments are described as gentle, relaxing and non invasive.
I work with people of all ages and stages of life, young and old, professional and non –
professional athletes and weekend warriors. Whether they are experiencing chronic
complaints or simply want to improve overall health and wellbeing.

In addition to my background in Kinesiology and Osteopathy, I have been a student of
yoga since I was 16. A combination of the above are part of what inspire my treatment
and thinking style.

Prior to coming to Campbell River, my wife, Rebekah, and I were living and working in
Calgary. It was there that we welcomed our son into the world a little over a year ago
and decided we wanted him to grow up closer to Nature. We are looking forward to
exploring the west coast forests, mountains and coastline with him and our golden
retriever in our down time.
